  • Jeff's areas of practice include business, corporate, and real estate transactions, estate planning, and general civil litigation. Jeff has successfully handled complicated and high profile litigation matters in both State and Federal Courts throughout Michigan, including several multi-million dollar recoveries involving personal injury. He is an experienced trial lawyer with success in complex commercial litigation cases of virtually every type.

    His representative clients range from financial institutions, insurance companies, manufacturers, and a variety of closely-held companies of all sizes, to individual business owners, shareholders, executives, professionals, and other individuals. Jeff knows his way around a courtroom and has had tremendous success on behalf of his clients for decades. Jeff also has an active mediation/alternative dispute resolution practice.

    Jeff has successfully mediated numerous cases in State and Federal Courts throughout Michigan and takes great pride in the fact that an extremely high percentage of the cases he mediates settle as a result of the mediation. Jeff consistently demonstrates dedication, leadership, and going above and beyond to achieve the best interests of his clients and is an accomplished leader in the profession.

  • Anne is an experienced mediator and litigator, primarily practicing in the areas of Divorce and Family Law; however, she also maintains a busy Civil Litigation, Estate Planning and Business practice.

    Anne is skillful and compassionate as she guides her clients through some of life’s most difficult experiences. Anne’s attentive and sympathetic demeanor combined with her expertise, efficiency and strong work ethic give her clients an immediate sense of trust.  Her knowledge of the law and passion for her clients make her a focused, dedicated advocate.

    Anne graduated from Grand Valley State University in 1997 and earned her law degree from Michigan State University – Detroit College of Law in 2001.  She started her legal career defending workers’ compensation claims and litigating complex banking, real estate and insurance cases. For a number of years in between her years in private practice, Anne enjoyed her role as In-House Counsel for two fast-paced, international companies. However, her passion for working with people and navigating tough circumstances for individual clients brought her back to private practice.

    Anne resides in Holland with her husband and their three children. She enjoys spending time outdoors in all of Michigan's seasons, taking advantage of beautiful beaches and a variety of winter sports. Anne also loves traveling, running, reading, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

  • Tyler is an experienced attorney with a strong background in business law, real estate law, commercial transactions and litigation. Tyler focuses on counseling business clients in all the different areas of business law. Tyler is available to provide expert counsel whether a business client is forming a new business, engaged in a merger or acquisition, negotiating contracts, dealing with shareholder matters or employment issues.

    Tyler’s real estate practice includes assisting clients engaged in transactions of residential or commercial real estate. His experience includes drafting and reviewing condominium documents, leases, or purchase and sale agreements.

    A 2012 graduate of Washington and Lee University School of Law, Tyler began his career as an attorney for the United States Department of Veterans Affairs working primarily in government contract law. Tyler has been involved in reviewing and negotiating contracts worth several hundred million dollars. He has also litigated GAO Protests and contract appeals before the Civilian Board of Contract Appeals and United States Court of Federal Claims.

At BMB, Jordan specializes in estate planning. He loves partnering with clients to draft the right plan to match their long-term goals. Whether that goal is probate avoidance, leaving a generational legacy, or simply having peace of mind, Jordan understands that there is no one-size fits all approach to your planning needs.

    Jordan has a passion for working alongside non-profits. Whether it involves entity formation, charitable fundraising, or regulatory compliance, Jordan loves to walk alongside organizations committed to giving back to the community he loves. He particularly has a passion for veterans organizations.

    A 2016 graduate of the Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Jordan started his legal career as a Judge Advocate in the United States Army. He has had the privilege to advise clients spanning medical, aviation, intelligence, law enforcement, and special operations units around the globe. His courtroom experience encompasses time as both a federal prosecutor and a criminal defense attorney. Jordan continues to serve as a Defense Counsel in the United States Army Reserves.

    Jordan resides in Hudsonville with his wife, Katie, and two small children. He enjoys playing golf, fishing, cooking, and cheering on Detroit sports teams. He also loves exploring West Michigan’s excellent breweries, distilleries, wineries, and farmers’ markets.
