Injured? Let’s talk.
You've been injured. Now what?
You search online and quickly discover many personal injury attorneys willing to talk about your case, promising a “free consultation.” Before long, it feels like sharks circling, and you’re the fish food. It’s no longer about you — it’s about your “case.”
It doesn’t have to be this way. When you’ve been injured, you need an attorney who knows this may be your only opportunity for fair compensation in your situation. You’re not just a “case.” You are someone who will live with the results from this situation for the rest of your life. You deserve an experienced attorney. You deserve an attorney with a track record of successful results for his clients. You deserve the best.
Ask others about Jeff Buckman — past and present clients, opposing attorneys, claims adjusters, judges and community members all say the same thing: Jeff works hard for you. He’ll treat you with respect, and he’ll fight for you with integrity, compassion, and professionalism — and always with your best interests in mind.

Contingent Fee Basis
The truth is, personal injury cases are typically handled on what is known as a “contingent fee” basis. This means that your attorney only gets paid if you do.
To break it down, if your attorney is successful in obtaining a recovery or settlement on your behalf, they’ll receive a percentage of that recovery. If they’re unable to obtain a settlement or recovery, your attorney does not receive a fee.
Most clients choose to pay their attorney this contingent fee in order to avoid the potential risk of ending up with a large attorney fee and no (or limited) recovery.
Choosing this route means that every consultation is “free,” but you’re sharing a percentage of your settlement or recovery, as well as the risk of obtaining it, with your attorney.
Hourly Fee Basis
You can also hire your attorney on an hourly-fee basis. This option runs the risk of racking up a large bill and not obtaining a settlement.
With both options, you are responsible for out-of-pocket expenses.
